Woody's Coffee and Ice Cream in Connecticut

"I give 4 stars for ambiance, 3 stars for value. I had time to kill and decided to get an ice coffee on a 90 deg day. 3/4 cup ice, but the very tasty, strong coffee came from a pitcher in the fridge, exactly as how I make it. I'm cheap about coffee, currently paying $5-$6 a pound, up from $3.50 a pound, and I'm not happy about that. This was a total splurge moment for me, as I paid $5.15 for this "large" cup, probably a medium in a chain franchise. But I'm hot, and this cold coffee is good"

"If you haven't tried a custom homemade ice cream cake from Woody's coffee and ice cream shop, it is so amazing with just the right amount of Oreo cookie crunch I asked for. I would recommend it to anyone. It was so delicious and everyone was so happy especially the birthday girl! Thanks again and can't wait to order another cake for another special occasion!"

"Went for ice cream twice now & the blue monster cookie is very good & my bf loves their chocolate! Very creamy & homemade tasting. Many options for dairy, gluten & nut allergies. Service is good, still working on using their register. Cute place! & I wanna go back in morning for their waffles, they look delicious!"

"I'm so glad to have a place like this open in our area. The ice cream is delicious and there is a big menu. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and there is easy parking right there. There's such a positive feeling you get from "going out for ice cream", especially with such a happy atmosphere. And I'm going to have to check out their coffee one morning too."

"Went today to Woodys to check it out! So happy I did! What a cute welcoming ice cream shop! Love the decore! It has tables indoors and outdoors. They have Frozen Yogurt options, sugar free options, Gluten free and Dairy free options! Great flavors they had too. About 16 and that can change of course with what they have in stock at the time! They open pretty early in the morning. Also on the menu they serve coffee , bagels, muffins and waffles that you can pick up! Teas and other cold beverages as well. Ice cream was delicious! I definitely will be back , prices were great . No complaints! I hope they do well! I think it's a nice ice cream shop for Cromwell to have! So I wish them the best and I can't wait to go back!"
